AI automation to remove your details from people-search sites
Finds the people-search and data-broker pages that list you, prepares each opt-out request with blanks you fill in on the site, and keeps a tracker with a monthly re-check. You submit every request yourself.
Level: Augment.
Trigger
Once, then a re-check every month
Setup

Steps
Make an opt-out email address
Create a free address used only for removal requests. Confirmation links stay in one place, and your main address stays off new lists. Some sites reject plus-addresses such as you+optout@, so a separate address is safer.
Search for yourself, in your own browser
Run these searches yourself, and do not paste your details into the chat. Search your name in quotes with your town, a past street, your phone number and your email. Where it is available, turn on Results about you to get alerts when your contact details show up in Google results. Removing a search result does not delete the page on the site itself. "Firstname Lastname" "your town" "Firstname Lastname" "your phone number" "your email address"
Ask for each site's opt-out route, using site names only
Open each opt-out page from the site's own privacy policy, and check the domain. If a site asks for an identity document, stop. Never paste or upload an identity number or an image of one into an AI chat. Decide yourself whether that site is worth it. If you do send an identity document, use only the site's own official form, and cover what it says you may cover.
I will list website names only. For each site, tell me where its own opt-out or privacy request page is usually found, what it usually asks for, and whether it is known to ask for an identity document, a phone call or a letter. Mark anything you are unsure of as unsure. Do not invent a link. I will check every page myself. Sites: [site names only]
Write the request with blanks
Fill in the blanks only in the site's own form, never in the chat.
Write a short removal request I can paste into an opt-out form or email. Ask the site to remove my listing, stop selling or sharing my information, and confirm when it is done. Use the blanks [full name], [listing link] and [contact email]. Do not ask me for my address, date of birth or any identity number. Under 100 words.
Track every request
Row 1 is the header. A = site, B = listing link, C = found on, D = request sent on, E = status (found, sent, confirmed, back again, or needs a manual step), F = re-check on, G = due. Put this in F2 and fill down. It sets the re-check 30 days after the request, and stays blank until you send one. Sheets: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/6000292
=IF(D2="","",D2+30)
Re-check every month
Put this in G2 and fill down, and add a repeating monthly calendar event. The monthly pass takes about 15 minutes. G = due. Filter G for "re-check now", search those sites again, and mark any listing that has reappeared as "back again", then send again. Open confirmation links only from a site you actually contacted. =IF(F2="","",IF(F2<=TODAY(),"re-check now",""))
Example output
Site | Listing | Found | Sent | Status | Re-check | Due People-search site A | [link] | 1 Oct | 2 Oct | confirmed | 1 Nov | Data broker B | [link] | 1 Oct | 3 Oct | sent | 2 Nov | Directory site C | [link] | 1 Oct | | needs a manual step: asks for a phone call | | Request text: Please remove the listing at [listing link] for [full name], and stop selling or sharing my information. Please confirm by email to [contact email] once it is done.
Power move
The chat never sees your personal details. It gets site names only and writes the request with blanks, which you fill in on the site's own form. Add a dedicated opt-out inbox and a re-check column, because listings can come back when a site refreshes its data.
What to check
- Only site names went into the chat. No name, address, phone number or identity number.
- Every opt-out page was opened on the site's real domain, not a lookalike.
- Every row has a status, and every sent row has a re-check date.
- The only confirmation links you opened came from sites you contacted.
What it can't do
It does not submit requests, solve captchas, make calls, or guarantee removal. Some sites need an identity document, a phone call, a letter or an account, and some ignore requests. It cannot remove public records or the original source, and it will not find every site. Removing a search result does not delete the page. Never paste identity numbers or images of an identity document into an AI chat. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services or a support organisation first.
Privacy
Paste only the text a chat tool needs. Leave out passwords, account numbers, and identity numbers. The steps link to each tool's own help page when a setting matters.
